About the Course
Racism costs our kids... all kids. As long as there are systematic policies, practices and stereotypes that work against students of color in schools, the vision for education in America will evade us all. This course uncovers four components necessary to reduce racism in schools, individually and institutionally.
Learning Objectives
Participants will understand and discuss their personal ‘why’ for reducing racism in schools and understand its value in producing the best outcomes for all students.
Participants will understand and own their personal power in combating racism at school — from intra-personal to institutional.
Participants will understand the cost of racism and will learn the true secret of its power and purpose.
Participants will review institutional policies, practices and procedures that move them toward an inclusive school house.
